A superb, colorful Majolica scallop presentation plate with vibrant glaze with turquoise, ocher, purple and navy blue. The Urchin in the middle is a lidded sauce bowl with purple glaze. Possibly English - it is unsigned so is difficult to identify, in any case it is an exquisite piece. The mottled effect of the glaze makes it look like the piece is in a sunny rockpool.
